How Matchr Saved €15,000 and Fixed a Broken Lovable Website with Prerender.io

Matchr, an embedded recruitment company that helps teams scale hiring, rebuilt its entire website using the AI website builder Lovable. Everything was ready to launch until the team discovered the site wouldn’t be properly visible in search. Here’s how Prerender.io helped fix it in under two hours, helped save Matchr €15,000 versus hiring an agency, and gave the team the confidence to show up across any search, social media, and AI platform.

About Matchr

Matchr is an embedded RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) company that helps tech, SaaS, AI, and enterprise teams scale their hiring. Rather than acting as an outside vendor, Matchr embeds senior recruiters directly into a client’s team, bringing market insight, talent mapping, and clear hiring metrics into every decision with capacity that scales up or down as the business changes.

As a lean, marketing-led company, Matchr relies on being able to move fast without relying on engineering. When Andrew Demianenko, Matchr’s Head of Marketing, set out to rebuild the company’s website, he wanted full ownership of the process without requiring dev support or leaning on expensive agency costs. He chose Lovable, an AI website builder, to build the entire site himself fast and in JavaScript. But unfortunately, vibe-coding comes with a catch.

The Challenge

Andrew had previously run Matchr’s site on WordPress, which never surfaced any real JavaScript SEO issues. So when the Lovable rebuild was complete and ready to go live, he didn’t expect any surprises.

But when he hit publish, Lovable couldn’t host the finished site’s code—a common problem with any vibe-coded website. Andrew reached out to Lovable support, and they offered a couple of paths forward: rebuild the site from scratch on a different stack, or bring in additional third-party tools to solve the problem. Rebuilding wasn’t an option Andrew was willing to consider, so he looked to third-party tools.

After doing some research in Claude, Andrew learned he’d need to host it with Vercel. He then deployed the site through Vercel, but that’s when the next layer of the problem surfaced.

Every page on the new site—the blog, the About page, individual case studies—showed up in search results as the homepage. Search engines pulled the same title and meta description for every single URL. Social media link previews were just as broken: sharing a link to any page, including specific blog posts, showed generic homepage information instead of the actual content.

So he turned to Claude to research third-party tools. After explaining his problem, Claude recommended using Prerender.io in tandem with Vercel as a middleware layer. Andrew had never heard of Prerender.io before, and hadn’t anticipated needing anything like it going into the rebuild. But with the math simple—solve it in hours versus losing weeks and roughly €15,000 rebuilding with an agency—he decided to integrate Prerender.io and launch.

The Solution

Using Claude as his developer, he connected to Prerender.io via API through a Composio integration. Andrew had Prerender.io fully integrated and his site up and running in 1-2 hours. “The integration was super easy. Really quick,” he shares.

And the results were immediate.

Social media links started rendering the correct page. For example, a link to the Blog now showed the Blog in the preview—not the homepage. Similarly, Google began correctly picking up each page’s actual title and meta description. The About page showed as the About page, not a duplicate of the homepage.

Andrew started seeing results nearly instantly, within a few days. It took about a week for all pages to fully reindex, but once that finished, every page was showing up in search perfectly.

The results were almost immediate. Social media links started rendering correctly, and content in SERPs and AI search platforms were accurate to the website.

Built for AI search from day one

For Andrew, the appeal of building Matchr’s site with AI tools wasn’t just about speed. Owning the entire content process himself, scalably, using a stack of around a dozen tools, meant he could launch and iterate on content fast (the whole rebuild took about three weeks).

That same philosophy carried over to how he thinks about discoverability. With Prerender.io in place, Andrew isn’t just protecting how Matchr shows up in traditional search and social previews. He’s now covering AI crawlers and LLMs at the same time, without having to think about it separately. Every time he ships a new page or update, he knows it will render correctly for search engines, social platforms, and AI search alike.

Below is an example from Claude. Now, thanks to his Prerender.io integration, AI tools like Claude will continue to pull accurate information about Matchr’s About Us page, without Andrew having to worry about a thing.

The Results

Since integrating Prerender.io, Matchr has seen:

  • Faster, more reliable crawling. Pages are picked up and indexed accurately, without manual intervention
  • Accurate SERP listings and link previews. Every page update reflects correctly across search and social, automatically
  • AI search visibility without worry. The same rendering fix that solved Google and social also ensures AI crawlers can read and surface Matchr’s content
  • Significant cost savings vs. building server-side rendering. Building and maintaining SSR in-house often starts at around $120,000, compared to the $49/month he pays for Prerender.io — a savings of roughly 200% in ongoing costs, with none of the engineering overhead of maintaining an SSR setup.

By building the site himself with Lovable and pairing it with Vercel, Prerender.io, and other self-serve tools, Andrew estimates Matchr saved over €15,000 compared to the cost of having an agency build the site from scratch. Because the whole stack required no dedicated developer or dev team, Matchr’s marketing team was able to move faster and launch content without waiting on engineering resources.

Ultimately, without Prerender.io, Andrew says the business would have lost search visibility and conversions from broken social media link previews and a lack of accurate AI visibility. For a 200-person company that depends on search visibility, this can be a costly problem.

Using Prerender.io gives me confidence that I won’t hurt my SEO, social media visibility, and AI search presence with any page updates in the future.

Looking Ahead

Andrew’s approach to the Matchr rebuild is an example of how a lot of vibe-coded website builds are headed: AI tools handling the build, but a rendering layer like Prerender.io is crucial to ensuring that your work is actually visible to Google, to social platforms, and increasingly, to the AI models people now use to search.

Thanks to Prerender.io, Andrew and the team at Matchr are now completely confident that no matter what they publish on their Lovable site, they don’t have to worry about their SEO, social media, or AI visibility again.
